Before moving to East Africa in 2008, Nancy coordinated a refugee resettlement ministry in Atlanta, Georgia. In Nairobi, Nancy worked with Church World Service as Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator. She also facilitated a community development program with churches in Jonglei State, South Sudan through Across. Nancy earned a Master of Divinity at Emory University and a B.A in Religion and Sociology from Furman University. She is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church USA and a published writer. Nancy and her husband Shelvis are serving with RECONCILE through both the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Reformed Church in America and joined RECONCILE in December 2011.
